Annual Result Declaration 2008-2009
The Annual result of the session 2008-09 was declared by Shri R.J.Ram (Principal) K.V.Nagaon on 28/03/2009. He wished the children and their Parents all the Best before declaring the results.
Annual day celebration 2008
The 26th annual day 2008 was celebrated in the district library
hall on 1st may 2008 with great pomp and zeal.
Following the Indian tradition, the annual day programme began with
lightning the holy lamp and an invocation to the goddess of learning
-"a saraswati vandana".
Dr. j.balaji,deputy commissioner of nagoan district &
chairman VMC graced the occasion as the chief guest of honour.
Mr. V.P. Shukla, principal,k.v. nagoan extended a warm welcome
to the chief guest and other invites.the annual report was also presented
by the principal highlighting all the achievements in academics, cultural
as well as sports events.
Mrs. Sheela shukla encouraged the toppers in academic field &
the winners of co-curricular activities by giving away the prizes.
It was followed by a colourful cultural programme which included
songs, classical & modern dance, instrumental and even a skit.
The annual day was concluded with vote of thanks by Mr. Heera
lal,PGT chemistry and by the singing of national anthem.
K.V.S. Guwahati regional social science exhibition
2008:
Four exhibits prepared by our students were selected in cluster
level for participation in the regional level social science exhibition.
MATHS OLYMPAID
In mathematics competition 2008 organised by Assam Academy
of maths. Chaitanya kalita of class XI and Dhritiman Das of class XI
secured 9th position (All Assam ranking).
In K.V.S. maths Olympiad 2006-07 Siddarth Das of class X stood in 24th position
(All INDIA basis) and got cash prize of Rs. 2000
In junior Maths Olympiad on all India basis Chaitanya Kalita
of class XI was placed in 18th position.
CCA
KV Nagoan organized a series of multi dimensional co-curricular
activities through house system. Taking part in different individual as
well as group activities at vidyalaya level 52 students bagged first
prize and they were awareded in Annual Day Function 56 students bagged II
and 63 Students bagged III position in the same field.
The Raman House received the best house trophy and Class IV A was awarded
the best morning assembly.
Peromita Chakravorty and Mridusmita Talukdar of Class IX were
the Proud participants of final round .I.Q test in the teen Assam 2007
organized by Don Bosco Institute.
Art & Drawing
Bishal bhuyan of class IX bagged 6 first prizes by taking part
in different art competitions held in and out of the vidyalaya.One of his
painting is also selectes among ten best entries.
